The DISA BMW unit (disa bmw) is used to change the geometry of the intake manifold (long-short) to improve the mixture formation in the cylinders and create a boost effect. The use of this unit on BMW engines allows you to reduce fuel consumption, as well as smoothly distribute the engine torque at different speeds.
Symptoms of a torn BMW DISA membrane:
increased fuel consumption
poor acceleration dynamics at low revs
intake manifold noise
